The Future

Please help us with our fundraising drive to acquire 3.2 acres of land that will be developed into a second full-size pitch, complete with a walking track and floodlighting — a facility the whole community will benefit from for years to come. We plan to hold a community 5km walk on 2 June 2026 and we are asking our members and neighbours to join together to raise these vital funds. Each participant can be sponsored — please support a walker and help secure this important community sports facility.

We have purchased 3.2 acres, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our club. The photos and videos show what we envisage the future of the Shinrone GAA field will look like, and we are very excited to begin this journey with the support of the whole community — an important investment in the future of our parish.

This will be a facility that will not only benefit the GAA, Camogie and soccer clubs but the whole parish, providing a safe, welcoming space for the wider community to walk, socialise and come together.
